Dr. Dharun Lingam Kasilingam holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Analytics from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli and Masters of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from PSG College of Technology.

His research interests include mobile commerce, mobile advertising, chatbots for shopping, block chain technologies, cause related marketing, brand placements etc. His paper titled “Understanding the Intention to Use Mobile Shopping Applications and its Influence on Price Sensitivity” published in Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services is one of the most cited articles published in the Journal since 2017. He has also published in other top journals like Technology in Society and International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing. He also serves as a reviewer for several elite journals in the field of Marketing. He has presented in several international conferences in India, Dubai, and Malaysia. He currently teaches Operations Research, Business Research Methods and Business Statistics at the Alliance School of Business.
